The standard petit corona from Hoyo de Monterrey. It could be an ideal cigar for beginners, or a smooth small amateur's cigar. This Petit Corona has a light earthy-herbal character.

As the name implies, this is an immense cigar. Reserve an adequate amount of time to smoke this beauty. The complexity of the tobacco flavors will not be appreciated if you try to smoke this one too fast. Sit back and enjoy this one with your favorite potable. My two hour smoke and Grey Goose went very well, thank you.

In the town San Juan y Martinez, in the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba, there is a wrought-iron gate with the inscription " Hoyo de Monterrey, Jose Gener, 1860 ", It's the entrance to one of Cuba's most renowned 'vegas finas' - a plantation specialising in growing fine tobaccos for cigar binders and fillers, and also the place where Gener started his career as a leaf grower before he founded his own flavoursome cigar brand and registered the Hoyo de Monterrey cigar brand mark in 1865.

Torres Coronas 2005
Delicate floral aromas over a background of very ripe fruit (blackberry and trawberry), oak and truffles. Its tannins have a ruity, meaty structure that evolves into velvety touches of smoke and spices acquired during ageing. Delicious with meat, stews, casseroles, and traditional Spanish paella. Perfect with creamy cheeses.
