I ordered my cheval mirror on sight alone, which was risky for me, given that I have bedroom furniture that is very dark brown and fairly contemporary style-wise. But the risk paid off nicely. The mirror's frame is the exact color of the rest of my bedroom furniture (though I have to say calling it "Merlot" made me think it might be reddish brown, even though I wanted it to be a very dark brown, which is what the picture implied; it ended up being a very dark brown).
