My mother-in-law is really into the organic and holistic life style. She bought me these horrible diapers because she didn't like us using pampers on the baby. These diapers gave my baby the worst diaper rash, and we ended up at the pediatrician's office where he had to prescribe a cream for burn victims! The diapers leak terribly, and (per my doctor) the urine actually stays on the babies skin which causes the rash. I used 1 of these diapers, and gladly threw the rest in the trash.

Which size? That's a difficult choice. Sometimes it depends on which cover you use or even which outfit you want to put over it. Smaller diapers are less bulky, bigger diapers are more absorbent because more cotton=more absorbency. This baby below, in the blue shirt, is 16 pounds. He fits yellow, red or brown edge prefolds!
