When I first started designing cradles, it was to satisfy my own daughter, "Candy Susie" . One of her first dolls was called "Baby Beans (Blue) (1970)" . It was the reason that I sized the small cradle, just to fit that doll. My daughter was the first kid on the 'block', actually one of the very first in the country to receive the "Baby Beans" doll (before it was even in the stores).
