Left Bank, further from the river than the best known regions (Margaux & St. Julien are not far away). Good values here, like this. 57% Merlot, 43% Cab Sauv. Nose of violets, raw meat & potpourri. Fine fruit, structure and acidity. Tastes of the earth…almost briney. A classic Bordeaux that will drink best in 2014 (more or less).
