Elexorien - Sword of War
Elexorien, the "Sword of War," forged from secret alloys many years ago by the Dark Elves, has a thirst for blood that is not easily satiated. This very sword helped Queen Vaelen unite the peoples of the kingdom against the Dark Lords army, the Black Legion.

This reproduction isn't q-u-u-u-i-i-t-e a XIIIa, but it's stretching pretty close (if the blade cross-section were lenticular, it'd be there.) The blade is 1095 high carbon steel tempered to a tough spring, the grip is ridged wood wrapped with leather, the pommel and guard are steel, and the leather scabbard has steel fittings. This sword has an unusually long blunt ricasso at the base of the blade, a gripping point that is also a precursor to the classical longsword's halfsword technique. Many...

Tinker Great Sword of War
The Great Sword of War is designed and crafted purely as a cutting sword and, weighing in at a little less than four pounds, it is built to excel on heavy targets. The 11” grip provides excellent leverage and static and dynamic balance are to Tinker’s demanding standards. The blade is again forged in 5160 and marquenched to HRc50-52. The hilt is retained by Tinker’s signature recessed sleeve mounting system, providing secure retention and easy hilt tightening, using the Allen wrench...

The hilt is made of wood with 3 unevenly spaced risers. Originally, the sword had a bright red suede leather handle, however with the addition of saddle soap, This turned into a more worn, rugged look that I like. Also, the suede feel is virtually non-existent after this. The tang is peened (however it is very obvious and stands out like a sore thumb...but still better than no peening, right :-D!?), which is surprising for windlass. A good improvement. A nicely designed wheel pommel tops it off,...

Replicated from a sword thought to be that of King Albrecht II of Austria, this hand-and-a-half Sword represents the pinnacle of beauty and balance in medieval swords. Classically simple in design with a flattened diamond-section blade and cruciform hilt, the original dates from the early part of the 15th century. The "Lion Rampant" emblem of the Habsburg dynasty is engraved in the pommel, while the Passau "Running Wolf" guild mark and a marigold maker's mark appear on the blade fuller. Both the...
