The mesh and strong zippers give the feeling it will last a really long time I've only had mine for a month but it's done a lot of traveling. Surprizingly, the bag will fit under the seat in a Southwest flight making it very convenient if you're carrying 2 bags. I have a mini NEC projector and it easily fits in the back compartment with all of the cables- I throw my laptop (DELL latitude D630) A/C power back there as well.
