Beautiful and vivid Crimson color, with Plum highlights. Deep nose brimming with classic varietal characteristics: Cherries, Chocolate, Raspberries, Sage, Campfire Smoke and Minerals. Juicy and silky entry to the palate, followed by deep flavors of Raspberry, Cherries, Chocolate, Lavender and Roses; the ripe fruit flavors are balanced by Cedar, Leather and Meaty notes. Bright acidity buoys the fine, mouth-coating tannins. Drink in its youth with roasted Rack of Lamb, or aged, with rich stews.

Our 2006 Cabernet Franc is once again made from our Estate Waliser Vineyard, as this rocky old river bed soil provides a great setting for this wine to show complex flavors of spice, chocolate, berry, with a hint of minerality to it.

A fantastic value! Upon pouring, you will be intrigued by the intense dark purple color and invited into the glass by aromas of crushed blackberry, caramel, vanilla and spice. The palate is lush, balanced and richly textured - the fruit is clearly from a quality fruit source. Hats off to David Minick, winery owner and longtime grower.
