"A lot a y'all was thinkin' that Bubba'd probably disappear," Bubba Sparxxx says on "Hootnanny," one of the better cuts from his sophomore effort, Deliverance. "In due time, but there's business left to tend to/I need another farm to bequeath my next of kin to." He goes on to suggest other things haters might have had him doing after his unlikely 2001 success, like buying a second pig, or relaxing in a brand new double wide. All of this plays out over typically skittering Timbaland beats that feature...

Bubba Sparxxx is a great idea executed pretty damn well. He's the redneck version of Eminem, a talented bubba sponsored by a great producer (in this case, Timbaland), given a lively soundscape as a background for his semi-autobiographical humorous sketches of life as who he is. Sparxxx is neither as nimble a rapper as Eminem, nor is he as imaginative, so this doesn't have the impact of either the Slim Shady LP or Marshall Mathers LP, but Timbaland is an exceptional producer who can give a gifted...

The album has everything from R&B, Rap, to Bass Music. I even have Bubba Sparxxx on this album doing Bass Music. (This was recorded before he even changed his name to Bubba Sparxxx, back...
