The product description mentions 14" of vertical adjustment. This is obviously an error. Out of the box, the mount's arm is fully extended to its maximum height and rests in the base at a 45 degree angle to the surface of the desk. While it would appear to allow for some additional lift it does not - the maximum clearance between the desk surface and lower edge of my 23" display is seven inches. It does allow for one to LOWER the display, however. Lower than the surface of the desk, in fact, but...
