I received this item on 6/25/09. It is a little hard to put on but has quieted down the bow alot. I don't have anyway to check the speed but the arrows seem to fly a little bit faster. I own a bowtech tomkat 2008 model the cable slide on it broke so i ordered this and so far it has impressed me
