I upgraded my laptop hardrive and put the old one into this Vantec NexStar SX NST-285S2-BK 2.5-Inch Hard Drive Enclosure. The installation was fairly easy. The top and bottom sides of the case can be removed without tools. I liked this enclosure because the hard drive is secured inside the case with provided screws. The enclosure has a power switch, DC power connector (adapter not included, but not needed for my 250GB SATA drive), LED that glows green for power (then cycles with orange light for activity), and the mini-USB connector port. Compared to an earlier 2.5" USB 2-SATA drive enclosure sold by Vantec, the NexStar SX, the NexStar CX falls a little short.
