Bifold doors are doors that open in accordion fashion. The door opens a hinge slot that faces the front of the door. Usually children will lean on the door and their fingers will become trapped in the slot as it closes. The bifold door local fits over the top of the door and slides into position over the folding slot. When in place, and tightened, the door can not be opened and fingers can not be pinched in the hinge.
