I read some of the reviews before I purchased the beerbands, knowing that they might not last the night but I thought they would be fun anyway. At the end of the night we didn't have any that were broken and we all had a good laugh about the sayings on them. I can see how they could break after being snapped on and pulled off of cans and bottles, but we've used these a few different times and haven't broken any yet. I bought them just for fun.
