To use our footboard brackets, you will need a bed frame with holes on the side rails for bolting on the footboard brackets. If your side rails do not have holes, you will need to drill holes in your side rails using a drill with a high carbon bit designed for drilling into metal. (These are widely available at hardware stores.)
