This beautiful cross and heart brooch features white bugle beads surrounding the heart and cross. The cross and heart are set with gold sequins in a cross motif with lovely tiny yellow flower and green leaves of tiny glass beads. The pin is articulated and 3'' in size. The condition is excellent. Very beautiful.

This is something I have never wanted to sell and Ive kept it safely stashed away for several decades. It is one of the most unusual old hand made pieces from India Ive ever seen. You can call it a beaded fabric brooch, but it was actually a patch on breast pocket of a jacket. The jacket was one I bought used in the 1960s, but the patch was probably made in the 1940-1950 period, or maybe earlier- it is hard to tell.
