This is a good quality 1.25" 2x two-element fully multicoated Barlow. Its relatively short 3" length allows use in star diagonals. A thumbscrew holds eyepieces in place. The titanium-colored body has blackened internal antireflection threading for improved contrast. Comes with plastic covers for both ends of the Barlow to keep the optics dust free.

There's an undercut safety groove in the barrel that helps hold the Barlow in place should the focuser thumbscrew accidentally loosen. A captive thumbscrew (that can't be lost in the field) holds your eyepieces in place. It has a 3.75" length that allows it to be used in star diagonals.
