I purchased these pots for my children so that they could "help" me make dinner, and let's just say that 5pm in our kitchen has never been more fun. Although I have to agree that the metal used for the pots isn't exactly going to make "Iron Chef" quiver, the pots serve their purpose - an opportunity to let your little one imagine they are the next Top Chef. The wooden pieces are beautiful and sturdy and I would say that the set is worth every penny spent.
