My mom purchased the bird with the house. We hung it on the side of the playpen and it would help my son calm down to nap. Unfortunately after much tugging he broke it. The string no longer goes back up. But, the tune lasted a minute or two, and it was a nice tune. The only concern was after he broke it, the string is long enough to be a strangulation hazard in my opinion, so I had to take it away. I want to buy another one though.
