From the late 1950s or early 1960s, this large brooch is an exceptional art in motion design featuring a huge faceted oval Citrine or golden yellow glass cab. This design is very unusual in textured yellow gold metal and small accent pearls. The cab has a wide rim of diamond facets and the whole back of the cab is diamond faceted. This gorgeous Celtic pin has a large, faceted amethyst glass crystal in the center, and a perimeter of faux gemstones including lapis, malachite, citrine, agate and turquoise. What a pretty brooch for the fall. This is a layered brooch with emerald cuts in brown or root beer, cabochons in faux Amber with tiny citrine rhinestones in the center. Everything looks like glass, but is not, and so hard to tell otherwise. All in a gold tone.
