Arts & Crafts Leather Purse
Description: Purse, unsigned, marked 'Pat. 1-25-21' on inside of clasp. Arts & Crafts period hand tooled leather purse, stylized fruit and leaves design. See middle left for back view, which has the same outline, but no fruits and leaves. The inside is an olive green suede (see bottom left) and has two pockets, the frame and clasp has the darkened patina the looks like iron. The strap is in great shape with black stitching, the same as around the edges of the pursde. The clasp says 'open' on one...

This is an extremely well done period purse by Spanish Craft done in the ever popular Lilly of the Valley design whose looks will only improve with age. The leather has a wonderful warm reddish brown patina with artful metal wear on the clasp. The inside is green suede and it is in wonderful condition. It comes with the original mirror and change purse. The mirror has some silver backing missing.
