Comments: I specifically picked this product for its grain size after doing extensive research. It turns out that studies have found little difference between the nitrate processing capacities of different depths and types of sandbeds. The main difference these studies found was the ability of the sandbed to "buffer" against phosphates. It was found that tanks with small (without being too small) grain size sandbeds have lower phosphates. I found this product while looking for appropriately sized...
