October 09, 2007: I have been a Johnstone reader for many years and have most of his books and this book got me so involved in the way it was written that when the final battle in the Alamo and all those good men and women died I just could not stop the tears. I am 59 yr. old and this is the first book I cried over.The useless deaths and the wonderful way the story was told was just so awesome.
