This is my lowest pitched flute, so far. It is in the key of A below Middle C. It is a BIG flute. So is the sound. The flute is made from Paduak, an African wood. It is clear and the hardness is somewhere between Walnut and Eastern Cedar. I'm using this for the large flute because the wood is so consistent. Below is a picture of this flute.
