This is a good entry level binocular for the price. I would recommend the fixed power Nikon above this however. The zoom feature requires additional adjustment to the diopter setting, and is not acceptable for extended glassing at higher powers. The 10x setting is very good. The diopter adjustment is too loose and can easily be moved out of focus unintentionally. I would not recomment the zoom feature on any binocular I have used in this price range. For a quick look at a higher power these are OK...
