Good old Scout, my middle-aged lab, has never gotten over his habit of chewing through his dog bed, ripping and tearing at it, leaving a trail of scraps throughout the house. Frustrated after trying all types, I said to myself, why not make a bed out of heavy-duty nylon like that in our Tool Bags? The 1000-denier nylon used in these beds is not indestructible - no dog bed could be and still be comfortable - but it's super tough and puts up a LOT better fight against chewing. It also resists water and other liquids. Removable machine washable cover slips over any similar-sized dog-bed cushion. Made in USA.
