Tyler Hansbrough, who finished his storied career as one of the most decorated players in the history of college basketball, scored 18 points in his final game in a Tar Heel uniform. Final Four Most Outstanding Player Wayne Ellington chipped in 19 points and Ty Lawson led all scorers with 21 points while setting championship game record eight steals. All three players, along with Danny Green, returned to school this season with a goal of bringing a fifth national championship to Chapel Hill.

(February 27, 2007) – The Stevens Institute of Technology Department of Athletics will be holding a pre-sale on Wednesday, February 28 for this Friday’s NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship First Round game against Worcester Polytechnic Institute (6 p.m. tip-off) at Ramapo College in Mahwah, N.J. Tickets may be purchased at the Schaefer Center from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Wednesday. Adult tickets will cost $6 each. Students can purchase them for $3 each with a valid ID card.
