Bright, deep red. An explosion of cherry liqueur and blueberry on the nose. Tightly coiled, juicy and fresh, with a deep core of spicy berry fruit. Firm acids give this terrific energy, as well as the spine for aging. Very sappy, vibrant wine: the pH here is a moderate 3.55, according to winemaker Ehren Jordan. Really captures the character of the vintage. 92 points - ST

Suave, peppery and fine-grained, with its lush texture and richness nicely cut by a zippy rocky quality. The long, energetic finish features a whiplash of flavor. This is really singing today."

Good redruby. Sappy, resiny aromas of red fruits and illegal herbs. Sweet and pungent in the mouth, with fascinating juicy flavors of red berries, wild anise and fruity pepper. Finishes long and perfumed, with finegrained tannins and considerable complexity. Very distinctive wine.
