Domaine Vincent Girardin can trace its roots back to the 17th century. It was originally located in Santenay in the Cote de Beaune, but in 2002 Girardin moved the winery to Meursault. He buys fruit from old-vine parcels up and down the Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune. Vincent Girardin has been hailed as the "golden boy" by Wine Spectator and has produced some of the finest wines coming from Burgundy, which has been noted vintage after vintage by wine critic Robert Parker.br

Showing the most oak in the nose so far; again the typical perfumed incense character. On the palate super fat and very oily and powerful with some heat and lots of side acids. Butterscotch, thick cream and candied pineapple. Very compact and luscious finish; classy, too.
