1,000 Places to See Before You Die

Usually I will find SOMETHING in a book that either interests me or that I can utilize as knowledge or hands-on application. This book, from the moment that I opened it and read the Table of Contents, was useless to me. The "places to see" were mostly out of the USA, and you would need to be wealthy to visit these "places". I was very disappointed, sorry that I spent the money on this book, and immeditaely made the desicion TRY to sell it at my next gagrage sale. Please look at this book at a Bookstore...

1,000 Places to See Before You Die

This book is interesting & well written but it glosses over too many places and doesn't do justice to any of them. And too many restaurants! I'd rather know about more reliable places, ones that are likely to be around for more than a few years...It would have been better to break it down to 2 or 3 books with better coverage in them. But it does make me want to know more about the places she does (and doesn't) mention so I can't really say I am completely disappointed.
